The number of German tourists visiting the southern resort province of Antalya has risen by five percent when compared to last year while the number of Russian tourists visiting this province rose by 20 percent when compared to 2007.  According to date obtained from the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism, tourists from 70 countries arrived in Antalya with direct flights from their countries.

Antalya will probably maintain its position among the most preferred spots for football teams’ midseason camps, but there might be a slight decrease in the number of visitors this winter due to the global economic crisis, daily Star reported.
