 The 8th International Kemer Underwater Days, organized to promote the underwater marvels of Antalya and Kemer, began yesterday. The event is being organized by the Kemer Tourism Promotion Foundation, or KETAV, and the Mediterranean Archaeological Underwater Research Center, or AASAM, and will host 60 divers from all over the world.

At a press conference held at Istanbul’s Cemal Reşit Rey Concert Hall, State Opera and Ballet founder and General Director Rengim Gökmen said the festival’s first opera was "Turandat" 16 years ago.
